From the edition twelve, celebrating the new partnership with ARENA, the Lisbon meeting will be called ARENA LISBON INTERNATIONAL MEETING, and in 2020 will be held, as usual, at the Jamor National Sports Complex on 8 and 9 of February.
With a history of success the Lisbon International Meeting has established itself as a reference in national and international swimming. This year, with the new partners ARENA, the international status of the event is reinforced, with new future goals to be achieved.
Like in previous years this year meeting will have prize-money for athletes in each competition, a grant awarded to teams whose swimmers achieve sporting excellence, prizes for best performance athletes, but also a new organization on the preliminaries morning sessions, divided in two parts, so the swimming elite could perform at it’s full potential.
Also as usual, the ARENA LISBON INTERNATIONAL MEETING, will be a qualification event for the biggest international swimming competitions, like Budapeste2020 and, of course, Tokyo2020 olympics.
